Opening Shot - Dribbble Invaders
Upon receiving your initial invite, all new Dribbble players are required to upload their first shot within 30 days of signing in. Some choose to upload their current WIP, while others create something new for community appreciation.
This example is one that is tailored to the community itself, engaging viewers and existing Dribbble members in a playful, with a clear "I'm excited to be here" message.

Brand Identity / UI Element
Created as both an advanced app brand identity, as well as a central UI element, this graphic was used to contextually connect users to the compass nature of the app. Visual styles were determined by the targeted purpose of the app, related to finding the nearest available restaurant.

LPB Brand Identity Design
Small alternate icons for use as digital favicons, badges and screen grabs for LPB Consulting. By incorporating the entrepreneur's personal style into a well-known digital element, he was able to not only connect to the technology industry, for which he was a consultant, but also to show a bit of his mac-oriented personality.

ios7 Soul Icon - Editorial
When Apple released their latest version of it's mobile ios, designers everywhere cringed at the color usage, UI design and general "newness" of the visual approach. By way of both agreeing, and making fun of myself and fellow "design thinkers" I created this "editorial" icon.
To add a bit more credence to the task, I decided to give myself 10 minutes. Based on community interest in the subject, as well as a few clever guerilla marketing tactics, I was able to create an icon that went on to generate 32,000+ views within 36 hours of publishing. Traffic has dropped considerably since the initial shot was published, but current views number above 35,000.
